THE bragging by US officials about the superiority of American military capability, their insensitive jokes about coffee and cigarettes consumed by the military personnel while raining bombs on Iran, have added insult to injury. We already knew that the US military is sophisticated and lethal without an actual demonstration. Our communities, thousands of miles from both the US decision-makers and their military targets, are getting plunged into hardship as a result of the war.
