Eight teams advanced to the quarter finals from 14 schools of the Under 19 Girl’s Division One Inter Schools Cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket tournament sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket. 14 schools competed into 2 groups ‘A’ and ‘B’. Devapathiraja College Rathgama (25 pts), defending champion Princes of Wales College Moratuwa (25 pts), Wickramashila National School Giriulla (20 pts) and Wadduwa Central College (14 pts) advanced to the quarter finals from group ‘A’.
