We Sri Lankans have been undergoing various types of difficulties since the arrival of mobile phones to the country in June 1989 due to weaknesses of service providers and registration of the SIM cards. The Cabinet Decision that has been taken to re-register all SIM cards obtained before mid 2019 belonging to all customers in all networks will be a blessing for all mobile phone users in Sri Lanka.
