Transport, Highways and Urban Development Minister Bimal Rathnayake chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Consultative Committee where approval was granted for two extraordinary gazette notifications issued under the Motor Traffic Act. The committee met at the Parliament complex on February 17. Deputy Ministers Dr. Prasanna Gunasena and Eranga Gunasekara also attended the proceedings.
