Recently, S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia, celebrated its 175th anniversary with, among other things, the opening of a heritage museum. Laudable as the museum concept is, a museum is never a substitute for the real thing. The beautiful S. Thomas’ College campus boasts some of the oldest and most iconic buildings of any school in this country.
