Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar told Parliament yesterday that the Government, through the Fisheries Ministry and NAQDA (National Aquaculture Development Authority), has provided compensation of around Rs. 28.8 billion for fishermen affected by the Ditwah cyclone.
