Focus was made on challenges arising in the release of lands held by Security Forces in the Northern and Eastern Provinces and in reopening closed road sections, along with possible constructive solutions during the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Defence held on Tuesday (7) under the chairmanship of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in his capacity as Defence Minister.
