Five Chinese nationals were arrested by airport customs officers in the early hours of yesterday (08) morning for illegally bringing a consignment of cigarettes made in China worth Rs.5,200,000 into the country and attempting to take out them through the “Green Channel” where there is no need to declare anything, at the arrival terminal of the Katunayake Airport.
