The Government should take steps to obtain compensation from the imperialist countries for the economic losses and national resources appropriation suffered by Sri Lanka during the colonial periods experienced under the relevant countries, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said in Parliament. The Leader of the Opposition said this while raising a special question to the Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister in Parliament yesterday (6).
