The Digital Economy Ministry stated that all traffic fines can now be paid on the spot using GovPay, as the system has gone live countrywide.The Ministry added that since its introduction in April 2025, fines amounting to Rs.115 million have been settled through over 86,000 transactions via GovPay. In a statement, the Ministry further noted that fines can be paid through banking apps and fintech platforms.
