Paradox Plaza brought together six artists connected to Sri Lanka through family, memory, or return. The group exhibition featured work by Ebony Maurice-Wilmott, Kavan Balasuriya, Luka Rhoderick, Robin Meir Weeratunga, Jade Cargill, and Grace Harre, and leans decisively toward abstraction. Across media including embroidery, sound, photography, engraving, sculpture, and painting, the show resists figurative certainty, favouring gesture, process, and translation.
