In rebuilding the country after cyclone Ditwah which caused an estimated US $ 4.1 billion in damages, the government has a hard time ahead. In financing the rebuilding tasks, it has to be mindful of the parameters of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme which has put a cap on spending and set macroeconomic targets.
