The education reforms that Sri Lanka plans to implement from 2026 are one of the most ambitious attempts to realign the general education system with the social and economic realities of the country. These reforms are structured around five key pillars-curriculum modernisation, human resource development, infrastructure and administrative reform, assessment reform and public awareness- aim to achieve systemic transformation, rather than stick to incremental changes.
