A special cheque-awarding ceremony to distribute Rs. 45.52 million in relief assistance to inland fisherfolk in Northern Province, who were affected by the Cyclone Ditwah and subsequent flooding, was held recently in Colombo, under the patronage of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar.
