The world is facing the challenge of importing fuel due to the armed conflicts in the Middle East. Sri Lanka has to bear the brunt of it. To manage limited stocks and minimise consumption, many countries have adopted strategic measures. The immediate benefit of saving money aside, fuel conservation is already an option without choice in terms of ensuring an uninterrupted supply of electricity.
