SJB MP Dayasiri Jayasekara yesterday alleged that the current Government and the appointed Speaker have limited the space, time, and rights allocated to the Opposition in Parliament compared to previous administrations. He said that the current Government has restricted the Opposition’s previous space in Parliament to a much greater extent than before and that the current Speaker is not giving the Opposition any freedom to fulfill its role.
