The national programme to inaugurate the implementation of new educational reforms starting from Grade One in 2026 will be held at the Gunasekara Vidyalaya Athurugiriya under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya today. This major education reform in 2026, has focused on a transformative, student-centered, and practical learning approach to replace the current heavily exam-oriented system.
