The move by the Police to ban all un-roadworthy vehicles from plying on our roads is indeed a welcome development. They (the Police) have already seized 12 such vehicles which were seen operating in the Ginigathhena town, according to Police. The Hatton Police Traffic Division, together with the Ginigathhena Traffic Police Division, jointly inspected 65 vehicles, including SLCTB buses and private buses, which were plying through Ginigathhena town on Monday night.
