A few months ago, United States (US) President Donald Trump floated the idea of a “Board of Peace” for Gaza, with himself as Chairman and others such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as Members. The idea of having a Board of Peace at that time was to enforce the fragile truce between Israel and Hamas, which was part of Trump’s 20-point peace plan for the region.
