The policy decisions and laws brought by the previous Governments have led to remand congestion and the Government is in the process of changing all those laws and regulations that cause unnecessary congestion in the country’s prisons, Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara told Parliament yesterday (21).
