Five senior journalists received the coveted Lifetime Achievement Awards at the Journalism Awards for Excellence 2024 organised by the Editors’ Guild of Sri Lanka together with the Sri Lanka Press Institute at the Mount Lavinia Hotel yesterday. The Lifetime Achievement awardees, senior journalists and editors Upali Tennakoon, Pushpa Ilangantilleke, Sa’adi Thawfeeq, R.A.E.Raman and Alexander Balasuriya at the ceremony yesterday.
