Individuals cannot afford to wait for teams. Of course this assertion will be taken to be heresy. The team is idolized in every way, and team efforts are religiously applauded. Individuals are of course honoured, but most times that is done grudgingly. Teams on the other hand are romanticized, and team efforts are melded into larger than life narratives.
