The Panadura Special Crime Investigation Unit stated yesterday that four individuals, including a woman, were arrested on the 25th for allegedly defrauding a teacher in Bandaragama of nearly Rs. 1.5 million by posing as representatives of a prominent telecommunications company. The suspects, aged between 17 and 24, are residents of the Palaviya area in Puttalam.
