The Philippines earlier this week became the first country to declare an “Energy Emergency” in the wake of hostilities between Iran and Israel/United States (US). Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr declared the national energy emergency in response to what he called the “imminent danger” posed to the country’s energy supply.
