Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that due to the rapid increase in fuel prices, micro, small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs (SMIs), who contribute 52% to our country’s economy, are facing severe difficulties and that this increase in fuel prices is having a serious negative and detrimental impact on the production cycle and the demand and supply chain.
