At first glance, there is something somewhat unconvincing about Malaki Duwe Nuba. A manuscript becomes a book, a book becomes a sensation, and soon enough it is crowned with a State literary award. In life, we are all too aware that such a journey demands years. But cinema should not serve as a calendar.
