Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman D. J. Rajakaruna yesterday announced a new programme to issue fuel under the QR system based on the last digit of the vehicle’s registration plate. According to the new decision, vehicles with registration plates ending in zero (0) or an even number (2, 4, 6, 8) can only obtain fuel on even-numbered dates of the month.
