Several measures, including the declaration of a public holiday on Wednesday (18), have been introduced to address domestic energy security challenges arising from heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East (ME), Commissioner General of Essential Services Prabath Chandrakeerthi said. He added that the private sector has also been requested to follow the same measures.
