Kandy Police are conducting investigations into an incident where an individual entered a gem testing, certification and sales center on E. L. Senanayake Veediya, Kandy, in broad daylight, sprayed an unknown liquid onto the businessman’s face and fled with a box containing gems valued at around Rs.6 million.
