Members of five farmer associations in the Matara District gathered in front of the Sanath Jayasuriya Stadium yesterday (11) morning to air their grievances regarding the undue delay in disbursing compensation for the loss of their crops caused by the salinity barrier which was constructed across the Nilwala River.
