Standing at 6 feet 11 inches, Tharjini Sivalingam is recognized as one of the tallest and most dominant netball players in history. Hailing from Punnalaikadduvan, Jaffna, her path to the top was not easy; she and her family were displaced during the Sri Lankan Civil War. Despite these challenges, she became the backbone of the Sri Lankan national team, leading them to multiple Asian Netball Championship titles (2009, 2018) and representing the country in four World Cups.
