Based on intelligence received, Coast Guard personnel arrested two individuals in possession of 3,400 foreign cigarettes, over 80 litres of locally made alcoholic spirits, 18 barrels of moonshine, and over three grammes of hashish in Negombo, Chilaw and Weligama area on Friday (9).
