A team of Wildlife veterinarians has started treating the elephant ‘Banu’ which has been found seriously injured due to a gunshot injuries. The animal roaming in the Kaudulla National Park is a great attraction for tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. Wildlife officials attached to the Ganewalpola Wildlife Office said that the animal has been shot in the front leg.
