Chief Government Whip and Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa told Parliament yesterday that if an MP properly reports an issue pertaining to his or her security, the Government will take immediate action in this regard. If an MP, regardless of the ruling party or the opposition, has death threats or other issue pertaining to their security, the Government will pay close attention to it and will take immediate action if it is properly reported.
