Prime Minister and Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya requested Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa not to raise the controversial Grade 6 English syllabus issue repeatedly and try to create doubts about the entire education reforms.
