Sri Lanka’s sports administration moved toward a decisive turning point as Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage announced an emergency meeting of all members of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Sri Lanka on January 13, aiming to finally agree on a date and method to hold long-delayed Annual General Meeting (AGM), after receiving complaints that officials are allegedly holding office illegally beyond their term.
