In a case of life imitating art, there could soon be a real “WKRP in Cincinnati.” A North Carolina nonprofit that has used the famous call letters for a low-power radio broadcast has signed a deal to let a group launch a station in the Ohio city that was home to the fictional station from the popular 1978-82 sitcom of the same name.
