Coconut based exports surpassed US$ 1 billion in 2025 and were projected to close the year at around US$ 1.2 billion, a substantial increase from US$ 800 million in 2024 representing over 40% year on year growth. This marks a major milestone for Sri Lanka’s coconut industry.
