Wattala Pradeshiya Sabha (PS) has launched a hotline service “0712553553″ for residents to report issues, seek information, and access services like planning approvals, sports facilities, and cemetery allocations. It’s the first instance in Sri Lanka where a local government authority has introduced a hotline service for direct service delivery. Chairman Brihan Abdeen stated that citizens can now contact the relevant officials directly, eliminating the need to visit the office in person.
