Book publisher Dayawansa Jayakody presented a ten-volume work on the life of Gautama Buddha, authored by Damayanthi Jayakody, to Most Venerable Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thera at the Galnewa Asapuwa. The work, titled Asirimath Purisadamma Sarathi Gunayen Babalana Muninda?a, was formally offered during a ceremonial presentation. Kanchana Gunasena, Nipun Richard Gunasena, and Madhurangi Gunasena were also present at the event.
