Two air passengers of Sri Lankan nationality, who had illegally brought a consignment of foreign-made cigarettes worth Rs. 11.34 million into the country and attempted to take them out through the ‘Green Channel’ where there is no declaration required, at the arrivals terminal of the Katunayake Airport were arrested by a team of airport customs officers in the early hours of Monday (29) morning.
