The Financial Intelligence Unit of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka states that it will impose administrative penalties on institutions that fail to comply with the provisions of the Financial Transactions Reporting Act, No. 6 of 2006, in accordance with the powers conferred by Sections 19 (1) and 19 (2) of the said Act.
