Sri Lanka yesterday commemorated the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, marking the 21st anniversary of the devastating disaster that claimed more than 35,000 lives. A two minutes silence was observed around the country from 9.25 am to 9.27 a.m. to remember the victims yesterday.
