The constable attached to the Sooriyakanda Police Station who was arrested yesterday (22), who had earlier accused National People’s Party (NPP) MP Shantha Padmakumara of assaulting him on December 20 night in the Kolonna area, has been released on bail by the Embilipitiya Magistrate’s Court.
