Two separate investigations have been launched into an alleged altercation between National People’s Power MP Shantha Padmakumara, and a police constable attached to the Suriyakanda Police Station. The investigations are being carried out under the instructions of Ratnapura DIG Renuka Jayasundara, and are being supervised by two Assistant Superintendents.
