Health and Mass Media Minister Dr.Nalinda Jayatissa said that more than 50% of the Rs.25,000 relief allowance allocated for those affected by recent floods and landslides has already been disbursed. He added that the Government expects to complete the distribution of the Rs.25,000 allowances within the coming week, while the process of providing the Rs.50,000 compensations have also commenced.
