Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) leader Mano Ganesan, MP, has sought an urgent meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to discuss the post-disaster challenges facing the Malaiyaha community. In a letter to President Dissanayake, Ganesan while appreciating the President’s decisive leadership during this exceptionally challenging period of national crisis, said residents of the hilly regions – particularly in the districts of Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Matale, and surrounding areas – have been among the worst affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
