Teen prodigy MF Muhammad of Zahira College delivered a stunning performance, slashing three full seconds off the long-standing mark held by double Olympian Matthew Abeysinghe, and smashed the nearly decade-old men’s 200m breaststroke senior national record on the fourth day of the HNB National and Junior National Short Course Swimming Championship at the Isipathana College Swimming Pool in Colombo yesterday.
