The education sector has faced a great setback as a result of Cyclone Ditwah, which destroyed a number of school buildings but even more distressingly, literally washed away the hopes and dreams of many students. A number of students perished in landslides and floods while many houses were also destroyed, leaving children with no schoolbooks and even school clothes.
