I used to think a “squeaky clean” face was the goal, but last winter, my skin visibly began to disagree. Between the biting wind and my accidental over-exfoliation, my face felt tight and itchy, and looked perpetually red. Turns out, I had perioral dermatitis (in addition to adult acne — fun!).
